The truth is that more and more lights are solar these days, which not only lessens your carbon footprint, but it makes for easy use. The lights charge themselves during the day, and then give you great light at night.  If you want a good way to lighten up the yard without spending much money, these solar landscape lights are very affordable and are much cheaper than wired lights.
